Bottled in 2019 at 30 years barrel aged, defining it as a Frasqueria (min. 20 years in barrel). Aged via the canteiro process, which stacks barrels in warehouses, where the wine is gently warmed to create madeira's distinct style. 100% Verdelho, with between 60-80g/L residual sugar.
Really decadent, voluptuous nose, heaps of deep dried fruit concentration, golden treacly richness with a vegetal lining, marmalade and billy tea for complexity and relief from density. Typical Verdelho plush citric mouth-feel, and typical buzzing acid relief. Delicately round with toffee sweetness cut by zippy fruit-skin tartness and electro-tingle acidity.
