Founded in 1821, Barbadillo are a largish (relatively speaking) producer of Manzanilla appellation sherries in Sanlúr de Barremeda. Of late, they have ventured into some interesting table wine productions, in the villages of the Sherry triangle, and also further afield. The local Jerez red variety, Tintilla de Rota, is grown in the blazing chalky Albariza soils of Pago Gibalbín.
