CASTRO MARTIN 2010 ALBARINO scores 95 points in Decanter London tasting

We take this opportunity to congratulate Andrew & Angela on their recent success ... the Castro Martin Family Estate wine came out at the top of a Decanter tasting of no less than 74 albariños in their August issue. It received 95 points, which falls into their “outstanding” category. The actual tasting notes were as follows:

"Restrained example of Albarino, with green, refreshing acidity and a long, stony finish.  Well-made and full of green peaches, green apple and white flowers. Very food friendly wine that can be aged up to three years."

"Smoky, earthy, leafy with bonfire aromas.  Richer, ripe style with an off-dry impression; yellow peaches, golden plums and exotic fruit, with lime acidity underpinning."
