Traditionally produced in the Alicante region, Fondillon is the local appellation name for an old solera-aged style based on Monastrell. Rancio from long ageing in 1700 litre barrels these wines show deep, nutty with roasted chestnut and floor polish aromatics that develop with great elegance and lovely earthen astringency.
